MPW’s Mikhala Rivers, Teen Universe North Star, won the national pageant of Teen Universe USA 2025 in Chicago, Illinois. She will represent the USA in the 2026 edition of Teen Universe International in Nicaragua.
Mikhala is the first Miss Minnesota to win a national pageant since 1989, Congratulations Mikhala for this historical accomplishment!

The MISS POSH WORLD pageant is the official Minnesota preliminary to Teen Universe USA. The MISS POSH WORLD organization follows the contestant requirements and guidelines stated by the national organization, Teen Universe USA.

Eligibility
Teen Universe Minnesota:
At least 5’5″ without heels, 16 – 19 years old
Teen Universe Minnesota Latina:
At least 5’5″ without heels, 16 – 19 years old. Must have at least one parent of Hispanic / Latino descent. Spanish speaking not required
Teen Universe Petite Minnesota:
Maximum 5’5″ with heels, 16 – 19 years old
Pre Teen Universe Minnesota:
12 – 15 years old, No height requirement
All contestants:
Must be born Female. Single (never married/never given birth to a child)
Requirements
Occupation: Teen contestants must be enrolled in Middle School or High School or be at least part-time student at a college level with at least one semester or session completed before the state competition or, be employed full-time if over the age of 18 years old and not enrolled in school
Clean Criminal Record: Never been convicted of any criminal offense and there are no criminal charges presently pending against the contestant
Good moral: All contestants must posses good moral character and must not have taken part in any obscene act on stage, photography or film
Platform: All accepted contestants must arrive to the competition with a platform, project or message to share
Requirements
Prior Contractual Commitments: Within the three (3) months before the contestant participation in the first local or state preliminary competition to the National Pageant, the contestants must not have any legal obligations that would prevent or limit their participation and appearances in the state pageant or, if selected as a State Titleholder, National Pageant or, if selected as National Titleholder, in the International Pageant, or during the Title Term, or their compliance with the rules, regulations, and conditions of the Program
Language: Must be capable of communicate verbally in English language
Parent / Legal Guardian Approval: All contestants under the age of 18 years old must have signed approval of Parent or Legal Guardian to compete

State and local preliminaries must follow established rules. These rules pertain to participants in the Teen Universe pageant system. Still, these contests are licensed events. They are operated separately and independently of H&I GRAND PRODUCTIONS. TUI® owns all the trade names in the Teen Universe International ® and Teen Universe USA ®. Their unauthorized use is strictly prohibited in exact form or in any similarly confusing manner.
